Embedding in websites

The Campus Navigator can be embedded into other websites by using an iFrame. To use it without limitations, a modern browser with HTML5 support is needed.

For the embedding of the TU Dresden Campus Navigator in WebCMS2 is needed only the URL of the respective card or the floor plan. The URLs can be entered directly in WebCMS2 in a "Einbettungsbox". In WebCMS2 a "Einbettungsbox" will be available at "resources > File" and used in content pages.

To embed the view of a room on the floor plan, follow the steps below:

• Open the Campus Navigator and click on the room on the floor plan.
• Copy the URL from the field "Show on the floorplan" on the bottom of the page into the following field:

Embedding a room schedule

To embed a room schedule, follow the steps below:

• Open the Campus Navigator and click on the room on the floor plan.

Embedding a Route (with destination)

To embed a route with or without destination, follow the steps below:

• Go to Routing
• Enter the destination address and click "Search point"
• Alternatively click anywhere on the map and choose "Route to here".
• Optional: Enter the starting point or choose a point on the map with "Route from here". Click "Calculate route".
• Optional: Change the map view as you like.
• Copy the URL from the address field of your browser into the following field.
